Dear Archbishop Dolan, Thank you for addressing this issue directly. As a Baptist trying to make a difference in a small Southern town - which is becoming increasingly anti-Christian - your observations about our culture's negativity toward the principles Jesus Christ established for us. The only issue I believe you could have added to the editorial would be to comment on the pro-abortion content of the health care legislation being promulgated by our national leadership. Proposing to use our public funds to destroy unborn life is the most irresponsible use of power I can imagine. Respectfully, Mike Young

Dear Archbishop Dolan, Your piece on this subject was superb! You hit the nail on the head. I sent copies of it to all seven of my children and to all the teen-age and young adult grandchildren because I know how deeply they will appreciate it. Keep up the great work! Your old friend Bill May
