I agree with Susan's complaints about the tickets. The Archbishop recently visited the Bronx; the visit was hosted by our church but included several parishes. As a result, we had to participate via lottery to get one of the limited number of tickets. My 9 year old daughter would have really liked to see the Archbishop "live", but I didn't even bother to submit for the lottery, because I would have needed to bag two tickets, since my daughter was too young to go by herself. But why not just hold the mass/ meeting in a larger venue where it would have been open to every interested member of all of the parishes involved? Ironically, our church is just a couple of blocks away from a catholic college; I'm sure they would have had a space big enough for everybody.

Our church would not allow my son and I in the door despite being there early. Why? Tickets. We hadn't heard about it - is this the new thing? The Church insists on tickets and turns away children? The church might want to rethink this. My family and I, after a decade, will be looking for a different church. I wouldn't want my children to think God closes doors on people coming to praise him.

Didn’t the show air this past Sunday afternoon? I listened to your show on XM and it was entertaining and educational. Down right awesome. I think it would be great if you two, or maybe another priest and a rabbi, had a special on the Catholic Channel where the two faiths were discussed in more detail!
On a side note, I've heard that PB16 will be calling a consistory very soon with at least one American bishop being called. Maybe the most reverend Dolan will be chosen!

I enjoyed the You Tube clip. If you close your eyes, by the way, the Archbishop sounds exactly like the actor Seth Rogen, of Superbad and Pineapple Express fame. (Some might find the comparison unflattering, but I'm a big fan of Rogen.)
