The silence is stunning on the sin of active homosexuality. Active homosexuality is in my opinion at the heart of the priest scandal. Am I wrong? The majority of crimes were same sex –homosexual men on young men. Yet the Church addresses the problem as one of men and children. It cooperates with the lie. Isn’t facing the truth necessary for penance?

One more thing. As one who is never at a loss for words of criticism for weak kneed Priest, Bishops and Cardinals who fear the predominant culture by being afraid to preach the true Catholic faith in all of its glory, and having corresponded with Bishops Chaput, Bruskewits, Burke, Cardinals Pell, Arinze and others (NY Bishops never answer), I have been rendered absolutley speechless by one of Bishop Dolan’s recent moves.

The joy I felt when I found out that His Excellency chose Father Leonard Villa of St. Eugene’s Parish as Vicar of Yonkers is one of the highlights of my life and will one day be considered one of of Bishop Dolan’s best moves.

This holy Priest, IMO has to be one of the best Priests on the planet. He speaks fluent Spanish, Italian, teaches the children of the parish Greek and has homilies that I think should be recorded and heard by all Catholics.

Thank you Archbishop. You are slowly renewing my faith in this Archdiocese which I considered a catechetical wasteland. The daily Rosaries I pray for this Church may be finally paying off and you will be attacked for it incessantly no doubt. God bless you and keep up the good work. We are out hear when you need us.

Always remember. Our Lord said you will be hated because of Him but remember, the hated Him first.

Don’t even try to get along with “the media” Your Excellency. They have declared war on the true Church of Jesus Christ years ago and no matter how much Church officials suck up to them, they will attack us , esp. The New York Times. Any Catholic who reads the NYT deserves whatever they get. I haven’t purches a newspaper in close to 20 years and know more current events than most folks.

Thankfully, most of these “media” outlets are slowly dying a natural death. They appeal to very few. The Net is the way to go now. There is an ocean of good Catholic information and news out here and every Catholic should be looking for them. I read and discover these sites daily, 7 days per weel, Sites like, http://www.thecatholictreasurechest.com/, http://www.biblechristiansociety.com/, http://douglawrence.wordpress.com/page/21/, EWTN.com, http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/index.html, http://www.spiritdaily.com/, there are many many more. I make it my mission to send these sites to as many Catholics as I can. Catholic education is a disaster in the West and sites such as these exist to educate.

Expect more of this Archbishop but know this, these are multitudes of us out here who will stand shoulder to shoulder with you. The gates of hell WILL NOT prevail. Yes we are losing many battles in the West because of soft leadership but they will not prevail. Our Lord told us so.

Finally I would like to admonish Catholic men. Jewish and Muslim men would never allow these attacks on their leadership. Real men would organize boycotts and fight back against unwarranted bigoted attacks. IMO too many of our men are akin to sheep. Everyone of you should belong to the catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, http://www.catholicleague.org/, the premier defender of our beloved Church.

Boycott these attackers. Get you family and friends to do the same. Help our Archbishop and other good leaders in our Church.

I would say, \Eat them for breakfast,\ but this is Lent and you know better than anyone that we can only eat meat in small amounts at the principle meal. All joking aside, I pray for you and all the priests, bishops and cardinals who are being so sorely tried in this age of Satan’s latest assault against Christ’s bride. God bless and keep you.
