Powerful - very powerful. I see our new Cardinal growing right before my very eyes.

These are tough times and will get tougher. Catholics are confused. The lack of good orthodox Catholic catechesis preceeds your arrival and educating them will be a huge endeavor and you have been chosen to do this.

Prayer and fasting wil be needed big time. Keep up the fight Your Eminence.

Dear Cardinal Dolan,
Your address to the bishops, your new book on Hope, and mostly your overall demeanor have given me the biggest shot of Catholic Inspiration in years. You take
me back to one of my true epiphanies in my life, a reason I do not lose hope. I was
living in Rome, and my father had sent me $250, all I'd have to live on for a while.
I went to the Vatican Bank which gave the best exchange, and then I went to get a
francobollo (love that word) to thank my dad. I joined the masses at the Vatican post
office, and as I went to stamp the letter I put down all of my money on the counter.
I dropped into the slot and then made my way to the Via Ottaviano to my favorite
cafe. After sipping a cappuccino I reached in my pocket for money and realized I'd
left it all on that counter. The cafe man saw my pain and said,"domani", and I began
to walk in agony back towards St. Peter's Square. It made no sense to go back and
look; by now a thousand had gone by that money. But I did! I walked through the
francobolli parade, people of every age, race, and creed, and as I discovered my
$250 untouched, I was greeted with loud cheers of Bravo!!! I actually wept. To this
day despite a million reasons to lose faith, I never do. And now YOU revive my faith
again. Bravo! Grazie! THANK YOU SO MUCH! A lady I work with thinks you are awe-
some, even though she is an atheist. She said to me, He is so intelligent, do you
think he really believes there's a God? I said sometimes things don't make sense,
and the heart is so much greater than even the greatest mind.

Dear Cardinal Dolan,

Thank you for sharing with us, your beautiful words. I have emailed your message to ones I hope will email to their friends in hopes that the whole world will have the opportunity to feel the joy that you impart to us…along with the encouragement to continue in our mission to introduce Jesus to those who are in the dark about ‘Who that is that is pulling on their heart strings’.

Please continue this website with your messages. We need to hear more and often how the Church is the ‘mission’!

Thank you!

What about a day of rememberance for those who have suffered because of the Church? It would be a beautiful sign that the Church was fully recognising the pain that has been caused and continue to keep it in a more humble posture.Cardinal Dolan could propose it and catholics could finally confront head on what has happened.

Thank you for sharing this address and thank you for your leadership in these critical times in salvation history.

Archbishop Dolan, is it not time for a national prayer campaign which exhorts we Catholics to adore our Lord in His Eucharistic Presence as well as turn to our Blessed Mother in unending rosaries?

There are many in my sphere of influence who already do this. Just imagine the power of such a national prayer campaign!!!

You got it in this address. It is good to be reminded of Truth in our secular desert. Our God has made Pharaoh stubborn. Pharaoh cannot quench our thirst. We want God in all things.

My thoughts and attitudes as a 40 year old have changed greatly from them time I was 20... It's called maturity. As we age, there should be an aspect of wisdom. While people cannot live much past 100 it would be interesting to see just how wise a person could become if they had the opportunity to live past that age, say 150 years old, or 200 years old?

I say this because there is something that has been a living and organic organization that is nearly 2,000 years old, it's called the Catholic Church. It is a mature organization has seen the wims and attitudes of people and persons change greatly over the years and despite of that it has stood strong for the values and teachings of Jesus through the apostles to the Popes, to the Cardinals, Bishops and Priests.

The Catholic Church needs to remain the moral fortress of the world. People make mistakes, people can be evil and the church is a beautiful thing. I'm thankful to Cardinal Dolan for standing strong and being a light in an age of so much darkness.
