Mother Edna Mary seems to have a chip on her shoulder. Anyone who knows Archbishop Dolan, even a little, knows how much he loves and appreciates the priests and religous of his diocese and throughout the world!

Dear Archbishop Dolan,
Happy Thanksgiving to you! I just finished reading your book, "Called to be Holy." I loved it! I know it will make a profound difference in how I live my life. I teach grades 4-8 Religion. I'm constantly telling my students that we are all called to holiness. Your book will help me as I continue on the road to holiness. Blessings to you and enjoy your Thanksgiving with your mother. As soon as I celebrate Thanksgiving with my Benedictine community I'm going to head to Tell City, Indiana to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family. Continue to write! You have an amazing gift.
God bless you,
Sr. Nicolette Etienne, OSB

May God continue to fill you with His Spirit. You communicate it so well to others. I watch your ministry from the distance of a few hundred miles and another diocese. I'm glad to have the opportunity to do so through the internet. One other thing I'm thankful for.

What a powerful statement by the inmate in MCC. It's staggering to imagine how things would be if all of us had that same sense of gratitude. Thank you, Archbishop, for posting it. Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving to you and all of us. Mark

I understand why you have been chosen Archbishop of N.Y. You have such a sweet spirit and all who come into contact with you can see your annointment from God. I had the great honor to meet you yesterday at the Kennedy center, and I was in awe with you. Watching you interact with our community here in Harlem, so genuine, concerned, funny, and so real with everyone. May God continue to favor you with grace and mercy. Many blessings to you. May you share a wonderful thanksgiving with your family.
