Your Excellency, Archbishop Timothy M DoLan; USA should remember that UN was built after WWII to prevent the future World War III. And now USA, with 9.11 Terror, involved Iraq and Afgan Wars. When His Holiness Benedicto 16 visited UN in 2008, Secretary General Ban said in his opening address that regardless of each different religious, the work of Vatican and UN are same as the works for the people on earth. That is true, but regarding for the peace, the peace is the character of the kingdom of Jesus Christ. Without grant of God and his son Jesus, only by UN politics , the world and USA cannot make success for their mission of peace. The Catholic Church should more emphasize to the UN member nations for the meaning of the peace that comes from God and Jesus Christ, as Messianic peace. And USA should be aware of this Peace as coming from the Christ Jesus, but not from “the Changes of Obama”. It is still lucky for USA that the Catholic faith are protected like under leadership of your Excellency and other Bishops. Thank you. Archbishop. your blog is getting hotter!

“a moral center where all the nations of the world feel at home, and develop a shared awareness of being a ‘family of nations.’” This would be an apt description of the Catholic Church not the godless UN. Your Excellency for far too long have we been subjected to the “deification” of this abomination on the East Side. It promotes everything from abortion to “child rights” to the socialist system- ISO (International Orginisation for Standardization). For man to pin his hopes on a manmade orginization devoid of any mention of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is foolish. For Churchmen to do so is inconcievable. Pope Pius XI: “When once men recognise, both in private and in public life, that Christ is King, society will at last receive the great blessings of real liberty, well ordered discipline, peace and harmony.” (Quas Primas) I doubt very much that Your Excellency will be able to read this-I’m sure that the censors will not allow it. However, if you do, Your Excellency is the Shepard for all of the sheep, not just those who tickle the ear, telling you what they think you should hear. I would thus beg an audience with Your Excellency. The purpose of which is to give you a view of your flock that you may not, as yet have been told but that I am duty-bound to inform you of.
