		<description>Gallagher writes of those with &quot;enough hope&quot; to build a new civilization.  I disagree. I don&#039;t think it&#039;s a matter of how much hope we have, but what kind of hope we have. We need a supernatural hope, because the disintegration of our culture is, at bottom, a disintegration of our understanding of the human person. And we cannot understand the human person apart from God. As JPII said, the &quot;theological perspective&quot; is necessary to address the problems of our time.</description>
