Tom, Your writings are absolutely amazing. You are a man after my own heart when it comes to Christmas. I start playing christmas music before Thanksgiving. I love The Celtic Women and have a cd of St. Peters Choir. One of my favorite carols is Come with Torches Jennette Isabella. Yes, Jesus is the reason for the season. May we always be so blessed. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and all the Dobbins. Love, Joan & George

I agree so very much with your appreciation for Christmas carols and also the mention that Christmas celebrates God's honoring of the human and spiritual dignity of each person, by coming to the world as an Infant. As both a Catholic and a concert artist, I have come to see that learning about the music traditions of each culture can help us to appreciate the humanity and spirituality in every person of our planet and in or own community. All of your readers are invited to join us in Listen for Life (www.listenforlife.org) which is a global family of music listeners, performers, and producers, working together to restore music as a unifying force for good and a channel of communication - both between God and man, and between cultures or individuals. And for those of you in the greater NY area, please come to our Multicultural Music Day celebration at Carnegie Hall on Sunday Jan 8th at 8pm - student & family discounts! see www. listenforlife.org/carnegie OR we will help you celebrate Multicultural Music Day in your own communities and "praise God through timbrel and song" by sharing in the wonderful sounds, instruments and cultures He has created!
