Tom Dobbins Jr.’s Bio

Tom Dobbins Jr. is the Justice and Peace Coordinator in the Department of Social and Community Development of the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. In that role, he has worked in partnership with numerous parishioners of the 400 plus parishes in the Archdiocese: educating them on the social teachings of the Church, and connecting them with opportunities in advocacy and service to put these teachings into practice.

  1. Hi Mr. Dobbins,

    I hope this finds you well. I was hoping that my church would have/start a bible study class since God’s word is the most important teaching to us as Christians. Since it is my understanding that you educate parishes on the teachings of the church, maybe you can help me.

    How would I go about starting a Bible Study program at my parish – Holy Innocents, Pleasantville,NY? I’ve approached a few leaders and they seem unsure of how to impliment this but I think it is a gift to form fellowship in Christ through His word.
