What business is it of a remote capitol to interfere with doctor-patient, or eve consumer-vendor? If the secular throne is a high-chair in the corner, even if Satan occupies it, he cannot reach to bother you. If it is a dictator's seat of absolute corrupting power, evrything temporal has been given to the devil, and that will drag all too many spiritual things with it. Do not grant authority to any human organization that you would not desire if the most corrupt and evil person would wield that authority. The error was to ignore subsidiarity.
